**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

**About the Client:**

Our client is a young man with special needs, autism, and limited mobility. He requires support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and mobility assistance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Assist with meal preparation and cooking

• Support our client with mobility, including loading and unloading his scooter into the van

• Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including cleaning and tidying the client's living spaces

• Provide emotional support and companionship to our client

• Assist with daily activities, such as shopping and collecting items

• Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the client's unique needs and preferences

**Requirements:**

• 1+ years of experience in care work or a related field

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
