About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with varying needs, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver person-centered care, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in care and support, preferably in a similar role or setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients and the organization.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on client-centered practice and person-centered care.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and other relevant checks, as required by our organization.
