Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated female personal care assistant to become part of our client's support team in a home environment, working 12 hours each week. This role focuses on providing assistance to a young individual with special needs, including autism and limited mobility. As this is a permanent position, candidates will undergo a probationary period of 6 months. Your key responsibilities will encompass delivering personal care, aiding in meal preparation, managing household tasks, and ensuring the client's safety while engaging in various activities. Flexibility in your working hours is crucial for this position.

About the Client and Support Required:

The client lives in a rural setting and requires support with a variety of activities such as cooking, crafts, photography, and outdoor excursions. While personal care tasks are included in the role, it is important to note that no lifting is required. Specific training tailored to the client's needs will be provided, and adherence to CQC standards is essential.

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Availability to cover shifts during holidays and periods of absence
  • Commitment to providing long-term care for one client
  • Completion of necessary training to fulfill CQC standards
  • Respect for company policies and procedures
  • Dependability, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
