About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Negotiator to join our Commercial Claims team at AXA Group. As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of claims up to £100K, utilizing your negotiation skills and tactics to achieve cost-effective and speedy resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a portfolio of claims, working closely with brokers and clients to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into policy and legal liability for EL, PL, and Disease claims, ensuring accurate and pragmatic decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a logical and measured approach to all tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the team to focus on development and coaching, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing EL, PL, and Disease claims.
- Strong proactive approach to managing own caseload and commitment to customer service.
- Able to make accurate and pragmatic policy and legal liability decisions.
- Detailed end-to-end knowledge of the claims process.
- Strong quantum assessment skills and working knowledge of litigation procedures.
- Developed communication skills.
