About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Commercial Claims team at AXA. As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of claims, using your negotiation skills and product knowledge to achieve cost-effective and speedy resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of claims up to £100K, working closely with brokers and clients to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into policy and legal liability for EL, PL, and Disease claims, using your analytical skills to identify solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients receive a high level of support and communication throughout the claims process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders, building trust and credibility through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying your knowledge to improve claims handling processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing claims, with a strong understanding of policy and legal liability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing demands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify solutions and implement effective claims handling strategies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
