Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Coordinator to join our team at Gilson. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing Outstanding Customer Support
    • Coordinating and answering customer inquiries regarding order status, stock availability, and pricing
    • Developing basic technical knowledge of products and procedures to provide 1st level of technical support
  • Managing Customer Relationships
    • Creating new customer accounts, pricing, and item set-up requests in our SharePoint database
    • Updating our CRM system with relevant information
  • Supporting Sales and Operations
    • Supporting the quote process using our CRM system (Salesforce)
    • Managing public and private tenders
    • Processing sales orders received via various channels
  • Performing Administrative Tasks
    • Managing back orders and billing disputes
    • Managing customer inquiry cases and complaints in our CRM system
    • Performing credit collection and other administrative tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in customer service, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse (written and verbally) in English
  • Proficient with ERP and CRM systems
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Working knowledge of imports and customs
  • Ability to work well with others and build relationships
