Job Title: Social Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at the Highland Council. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing statutory reports for the courts and parole board, supervising and managing individuals subject to statutory supervision, and working to reduce reoffending and promote social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing statutory reports for the courts and parole board
- Supervising and managing individuals subject to statutory supervision
- Working to reduce reoffending and promote social inclusion
- Collaborating with other agencies to achieve community safety and public protection
Requirements:
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social Worker' part of the Register
- Qualification recognized by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma of Social Work (DipSW)
- Full driving licence and ability to use transport efficiently throughout Highland
