About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Operations Specialist to join our team at William Hill PLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our enterprise systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Utilize a suite of world-class monitoring tools to ensure visibility and control over our enterprise stack, including on-premise databases and auto-scaled services in the AWS Cloud.
  • System Administration: Leverage enterprise-class system admin tools (UNIX and AWS) and monitoring tools (New Relic) to maintain and optimize our systems.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with diverse teams to resolve issues and improve system performance, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Cover a 24/7 shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with a passion for sport and a willingness to learn about our business and systems.
