Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified dietitian to join our Children's Team in Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work with children from 0-19 years and their families/carers, providing specialist care and support.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient-centred programmes of care to a specialist level. They will work with children who are enterally fed, have feeding difficulties, and nutritional issues, including food intolerances and faltering growth.

The team works closely with hospital colleagues, commissioners, and paediatricians to develop pathways for children with complex needs. The post holder will be part of a supportive team that prioritises peer support and clinical leadership.

About the Role

This is a permanent, flexible (hybrid working), part-time role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, and homes. They will be provided with a laptop and smartphone for hybrid working and remote access to SystmOne.
