Lead Racial Justice Strategist

Job Summary:
The London Diocesan Fund is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead its racial justice priority. As the Head of Racial Justice Priority, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of love, fairness, equity, justice, collaboration, and integrity within the Diocese of London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a Culture of Inclusion: Collaborate with the London College of Bishops to create a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Facilitate Learning and Development: Design and implement training programs to increase understanding of racism and its impact.
- Break Down Barriers: Identify and dismantle systemic barriers that hinder true race equality within the diocesan structures, policies, and processes.
- Truth Telling and Accountability: Lead efforts to address the historical legacy of slavery and challenge systemic racism.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate resilience, patience, and a willingness to engage with stakeholders across the Church to inspire meaningful change. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with the Lead Bishop on Racial Justice and other key stakeholders to deliver this strategic priority.
