Administrative Support Specialist

Role Overview: The position of Administrative Support Specialist at The Salvation Army is vital in ensuring the effective delivery of our services. This role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is committed to enhancing the lives of vulnerable families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of a comprehensive support program that prioritizes client autonomy and empowerment.
- Manage daily operational tasks including processing rent transactions, ensuring compliance, conducting inventory checks, and performing reception duties to facilitate the smooth running of the service.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing administrative assistance and effectively managing personal time.
- Strong communication abilities, fostering positive working relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a readiness to learn internal systems.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, alongside numeracy skills at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Alignment with The Salvation Army's Christian values: integrity, accountability, compassion, passion, boldness, and respect.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage workload to achieve set objectives.
