About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at the Portsmouth PET-CT Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our Radiographers, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Radiographers during patient scans, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Support patients and chaperone when necessary, maintaining a high level of patient care.
  • Manage clinical stock and participate in audits, ensuring compliance with radiation protection protocols.
  • Process patient information via our E-Systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
  • Good IT and administration skills, with the ability to accurately process patient information.
  • A flexible and organized approach, with a strong attention to detail.
