Community Mental Health Specialist

NHS Lothian is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh Behaviour Support Service. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with advanced dementia and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment, formulation, and intervention on direct case work
- Deliver training across the NES Responses to Stress & Distress in Dementia and Essentials In Psychological Care – Dementia training programmes
- Contribute to service audit, research, and evaluation
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide excellent care and intervention outcomes
- NMC registration
- Previous attendance at NES Psychological Responses to Stress and Distress 2-day enhanced/expertise level training (desirable)
- Experience in the delivery of training (desirable)
