Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Project Manager - Fire & Security, you will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized fire and security projects from design stage to client handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete end-to-end management of small to medium fire and security projects
  • Client liaison and management
  • Labour allocations and planning
  • Materials planning
  • Snagging works and delivering a high-end product for the client
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Creating and updating RAMS
  • Updating drawings
  • Creating as-built drawings with assistance of CAD team
  • Writing up technical elements of O&Ms, including as-fitted specification and job-specific maintenance requirements

Requirements:

  • High levels of self-motivation and time management
  • Great communication skills with team members and clients
  • Solid understanding of BS5839:2017 part 1, particularly the placement and location of detection devices and categories
  • Experience of installing fire alarm systems
  • Experience of installing IP CCTV and access control systems
  • Similar role experience previously for at least 2 years
  • Contract terms and conditions experience
  • Design responsibility and management
  • Financial control, including the provision of applications
  • Project management
  • Delivery of the project to established parameters, programme/quality
  • All staff are required to fulfill their legal duty to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts and omissions, and to follow all guidance and instructions given in this respect
  • Complete monthly health and safety visits
