About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Pertemps Bond. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and financial aspects of contracts, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with quality and health and safety standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and manage material orders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Represent the company professionally at site and contract meetings, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Produce method statements, risk assessments, and operation and maintenance manuals to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients, third parties, and management to ensure resources are available and project timelines are met.
  • Brief clients and site personnel on working requirements and processes to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform monthly financial assessments to track work progress and costs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate project issues proactively to senior management, suggesting alternative solutions to resolve problems.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in engineering and working at heights, with a strong understanding of risk assessments and collaborative working.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, CAD, Visio, Prince2, databases, and process mapping.
  • Knowledgeable in BSEN 12845, BS9251:2014, and BS9990:2015 standards.
  • Experience in wet and dry riser engineering, with a preference for LPC certificates (basic/intermediate or full hydraulic calculation).
  • Proven project management experience within fire sprinkler installation, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with excellent IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
