As a key member of our Partnerships Investment and Assurance department, you will be responsible for managing complex asset projects on behalf of the Council, ensuring high standards in design, sustainability, and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Deputise for senior leadership and represent the directorate in key meetings.
- Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships to maximise affordable housing delivery.
- Contract Management: Ensure third-party works meet quality and value-for-money standards.
- Operational Oversight: Lead technical teams following industry best practices.
- Development: Plan large-scale housing and mixed-use developments.
- Integration: Align projects with council objectives.
- Housing Delivery: Identify new housing opportunities for specialist needs.
- Project Management: Oversee complex schemes and integrated project teams.
- Compliance: Ensure actions comply with laws and council policies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report project milestones and financial targets.
- Financial Modelling: Manage financial models from project inception to planning.
