Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a complex project with significant investment in our wastewater treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team to deliver the project objectives, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Develop and implement a project health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to drive project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal financial outcomes for Thames Water.
  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including project updates and progress reports.
  • Contribute to the development of project-wide continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering complex projects in the built environment, infrastructure, or utility industry.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in engineering, business, or project management.
  • Experience in managing contract specification preparation, tendering, and tender evaluation processes.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage risk and uncertainty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary from £55,000 to £75,000 per annum.
  • 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with length of service.
