Position Overview

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Head of Student Experience to deliver timely and effective interventions for students in need of safeguarding support.

Your responsibilities will include assisting students in engaging with external agencies when safeguarding and protection concerns arise, and facilitating effective information sharing in accordance with the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) and Local Safeguarding Adult Board (LSAB) protocols to fulfill statutory safeguarding obligations.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals with a relevant level 3 professional qualification in Education, Health, Social Care, or Youth Work, along with experience in a support role working with children, young people, and families, addressing a variety of individual needs. Experience in providing safeguarding and protection interventions and assessments, as well as working within an educational setting, is essential. Familiarity with multi-agency collaboration and delivering training to groups is also required.
