Location: Darwen, Lancashire
School Type: 11-16 mainstream educational setting
Employment Type: Temporary with potential for permanence
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Your Responsibilities: As an SEMH Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in addressing the educational and emotional needs of our students. Your duties will encompass:

  • Assisting educators in implementing customized learning activities.
  • Providing individualized support to students facing SEMH challenges.
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Guiding students in developing coping mechanisms and resilience.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and external organizations to ensure each student's well-being and progress.

All compensation rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This advertisement is for a temporary position, with the possibility of a permanent role becoming available later.
