About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies to prevent and respond to child protection incidents.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and staff on safeguarding best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure effective multi-agency working and partnership.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations to identify and mitigate potential safeguarding risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, carers, and external agencies.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field.
