About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer to join our team at Star Academies. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies to prevent and respond to child protection incidents.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and staff on safeguarding best practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain effective partnerships and networks.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations to identify and mitigate potential safeguarding risks.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding best practices and procedures, including child protection laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
