Job Title: Planning Engineer

As an Asset Planning Engineer at Affinity Water, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery Directorate. Your primary responsibility will be to drive robust investment planning to ensure projects meet business needs and deliver set out benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of infrastructure risks - working closely with operational and delivery teams;
  • Ownership of project planning at the concept phase and support through the project lifecycle;
  • Develop and support investment project proposals and business cases, driven by data and optimising performance, risks, and cost;
  • High level of competency in data capture, managing, and analysis;
  • Advanced MS Office skills, experience using Microsoft Visio;
  • Good knowledge of water network functionality;
  • Clean driving license;
  • Data analysis skills, ability to work with large data sets;
