About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Asset Management service based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining databases to the required level of detail, completing work tasks for accounts following defined work instructions, and reporting and escalating data exceptions to Senior (Data) Analyst.

The Asset Management service is built on ITIL best practice and has the primary objective of building an inventory of a customer's IT estate, helping organizations track Assets through their end-to-end life cycle, lowering IT costs, reducing IT risk, and improving their productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain databases to the required level of detail.
  • Complete work tasks for accounts following defined work instructions.
  • Report and escalate data exceptions to Senior (Data) Analyst.
  • Perform audits tasks including planning and conducting physical onsite audits where necessary.
  • Complete any necessary service or account metrics.
  • Advanced Excel skills using formulae such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP are advantageous.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous data analysis skills are advantageous.
  • Experience of managing asset registers.
  • ITIL Foundation Qualification is advantageous.
  • Some understanding of Asset & Configuration processes is advantageous.
  • Experience in Asset & Configuration CMDBs is desirable.
