Supplier Due Diligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Procurement and Supply Chain function as a Supplier Due Diligence Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that ensures robust and effective controls, promoting positive communication across the workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Supplier On-Boarding process, providing assistance to the procurement and compliance team on adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assess ethics and financial outputs from third parties, attending meetings and forums as part of the MBDA UK team.
- Assess Supplier questionnaires, request certifications, send electronic campaigns, and ensure all required documentation has been received and validated.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across the business, promoting a culture of integrity within MBDA UK.
- Assist the Group Supplier Domain lead with process updates and systems upgrades, leading UK communication and training roll out.
- Maintain supplier master data records and reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Actively participate in third-party supplier management, attending weekly reviews and ensuring information is updated in a timely manner.
- Manage Supplier on-Boarding Governance, running the committee of Supplier approval, implementing and tracking decisions and mitigation actions.
- Engage with Offset/IIC teams, planning and facilitating quarterly meetings and preparing data for due diligence checks.
- Manage queries relating to Donations & Sponsorship, Gifts & Hospitality, and Conflicts of Interest.
- Ability to build strong and productive working relationships across the UK and Group teams.
- Ability to lead discussions and workshops in relation to Supplier Due diligence.
- Experience of working in a similar sector is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of tools such as SAP, Ivalua, and Third-party online data solutions are desirable.
- MS Excel/Power point/Word compulsory and ability to utilise online tools associated with internal procedures.
- Willingness to maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and associated legal cases.
