About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Due Diligence Analyst to join our Procurement and Supply Chain function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and effectiveness of our controls, promoting positive communication across the workforce, and carrying out functional activities in Supplier On-boarding and Supplier Risk processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Supplier On-boarding process, providing assistance to the procurement and compliance team on adherence to policies and procedures;
- Assessing Ethics and financial outputs from third parties, attending meetings and forums as part of the MBDA UK team;
- Assessing Supplier questionnaires, requesting certifications, sending electronic campaigns, and ensuring all required documentation has been received and validated;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across the business, promoting the development of a culture of integrity within MBDA UK;
- Assisting the Group Supplier Domain lead with the planning and implementation of process updates and systems upgrades;
- Maintaining supplier master data records and reporting associated with the management of Suppliers;
- Actively participating in the management of third-party suppliers, attending weekly reviews, and ensuring information is updated in a timely manner;
- Managing Supplier on-Boarding Governance, running the committee of Supplier approval, implementing and tracking decisions and mitigation actions;
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across the business, promoting the continuous development of supplier processes based on stakeholder feedback;
- Engaging with Offset/IIC teams, planning and facilitating quarterly meetings, and preparing data for due diligence checks;
- Managing queries relating to Donations & Sponsorship, Gifts & Hospitality, and Conflicts of Interest;
- Maintaining knowledge, skills, and expertise relating to Business Ethics & Compliance.
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to build strong and productive working relationships across the UK and Group teams;
- Ability to lead discussions and workshops in relation to Supplier Due diligence;
- Experience of working in a similar sector is desirable;
- Knowledge and experience of tools such as SAP, Ivalua, and Third-party online data solutions are desirable;
- MS Excel/Powerpoint/Word skills are compulsory, and the ability to utilise online tools associated with internal procedures;
- Willingness to maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and associated legal cases.
