Role Responsibilities: As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will report to the Automation Systems Lead and collaborate closely with software engineers and system specification leads. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and management of intricate engineering systems.
  • Reviewing and managing change requests related to existing systems provided by automation suppliers.
  • Engaging with various business functions, including Group Technology and Operations, to enhance automation processes.
  • Conducting thorough investigations of ongoing issues using diverse analytical tools and techniques.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers on system and software updates for automation systems.
  • Supporting system integration testing and contributing to the development of systems requirements.
  • Providing technical support and analysis of automation performance.
  • Managing defect and design change processes to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile: To excel in this position, you should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Interest in software package development, deployment, and testing.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in data analysis and root cause investigation.
  • Familiarity with automation processes and systems testing.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
