Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Control Systems: Develop and implement control systems and automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety standards.
- Automation Standards and Documentation: Develop and maintain automation standards and documentation, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all systems.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve control system and automation equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal production.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality, to optimize production for safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for automation equipment and software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Create maintenance plans for manufacturing and packing equipment software, perform system upgrades and modifications, and ensure program data security in accordance with Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
- Expertise and Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise with colleagues to improve understanding and performance, and stay updated on automation technology and industry regulations.
- Task Instructions and Commissioning: Create and implement task instructions for Controls and Automation tasks, and participate in the design and commissioning of new production facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proactive Maintenance Approaches: Experience with proactive maintenance approaches such as CBM, PPM, and OAC.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving control and automation systems issues.
- PLC/HMI Systems: Knowledge of PLC/HMI systems like Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi.
- Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement activities.
- Pharmaceutical or Biotech Experience: Background in pharmaceutical or Biotech environments.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Compliance.
- Time Management and Organization: Effective time management and workload organization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- GMP-Regulated Manufacturing: Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Process Controls: Ability to amend and improve process controls.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Proven track record in driving continuous improvement projects.
