Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. This is a specialist role that requires a deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to facilitate an understanding of young people's strengths and needs.
- Develop and deliver specialist training programs and supervise other staff groups.
- Participate in audit, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to policy and service development.

Person Specification- Three-year Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the BPS.
- At least one year post-qualification experience as a Clinical Psychologist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience of providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families with severe and complex mental health difficulties.
- Experience of completing neuropsychological assessments and using a range of outcome measures.
- Experience of developing and delivering specialist training programs and supervising other staff groups.
- Relevant specialist training or experience in CBT, Child Neuropsychology, or Systemic Work.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural setting, including working with interpreters.
- Knowledge of and experience in offering DBT with young people and/or their families.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information in a highly emotive and sometimes hostile atmosphere.
- Strong analytical and judgemental skills, including the ability to draw upon a broad theoretical knowledge base.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize own workload.
