We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) service at East London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with severe and complex mental health difficulties.
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to children and adolescents with mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, nursing, and social work professionals, to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents.
- Develop and deliver specialist training programs and supervise other staff members.
- Participate in audit, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care.
- Contribute to policy and service development to improve mental health services for children and adolescents.
- Three-year Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- At least one year of post-qualification experience as a Clinical Psychologist, including experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
- Experience of providing direct clinical services to children and adolescents with severe and complex mental health needs.
- Experience of developing and delivering specialist training programs and supervising other staff members.
- Experience of participating in audit, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience of contributing to policy and service development.
