About the Role

Mundipharma is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Specialist to play a key role in shaping and delivering the Commercial functional strategy. As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that sales targets for commercial products are achieved through the development of profitable relationships with secondary-care and procurement customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Business Planning: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a commercial business plan to ensure relevant brand, company, and departmental strategies and tactics are met.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop relationships with procurement, hospital, compounding, dispensing, and hospice customers to obtain maximum benefit for Mundipharma's product range.
  • Tender Management: Responsible for the implementation of commercial tenders and accountable for operational deliverables, monitoring of e-tender portals for contract opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead the tender and pricing recommendations for Mundipharma's UK portfolio.
  • Contract Administration: Review contractual agreements and ensure Mundipharma can meet any reporting requirements.
  • Data Management: Carry out monthly data load of wholesaler data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Wholesaler Management: Work with the Finance and Customer Fulfilment Teams to ensure prompt and accurate administration of wholesaler and dispensing doctor invoices and rebates.
  • Business Development: Through RFP and other necessary projects, negotiate, establish, and manage wholesaler distribution agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work with Legal, Supply Chain, Compliance, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and other functions to ensure wholesaler agreements reflect the needs of the business.
  • Market Intelligence: Ensure that brand teams are kept informed of stock positioning, availability, system update timelines, and other factors that might affect customer purchasing.
  • Forecasting: Review all changes in market and forecast accuracy, and comment in Anaplan, changing consensus forecasts where required in collaboration with Supply Chain.
Requirements
  • Commercial and Finance Analytical Skills: Strong commercial and finance analytical skills, able to make a story from data.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Tableau and BI, knowledge of UK pricing, reimbursement, and tender model, understanding of PI and Grey market, knowledge of current NHS structure.
  • Soft Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinker through analytical activity, ability to deliver comprehensive plans, ABPI code of practice is nice to have.
