Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our team at CV-Library. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Management Team and wider site department Managers by providing accurate monthly management accounts and producing monthly profitability and KPI information.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present month-end reporting and supporting commentary to stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly reports and analysis for the site, including general ledger cost reports.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of Finance KPIs and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset additions/disposals.
  • Review and analyze customer profitability and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Qualified management accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills to manipulate multiple data sources and deliver detailed analytics.
  • Prior experience with Business Central is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with a high level of organization and structure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident and proactive with a strong understanding of deadlines and the need to achieve them.
  • Good commercial awareness and ability to challenge the status quo.
