About the Role:

Cameron Kennedy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our global revenue accounting function. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing a global team, ensuring accurate revenue accruals, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global mandates team, building relationships with client-facing teams and managing a global team to ensure accurate revenue and rebate accruals.
  • Manage all debtors and cash flow forecasting, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
  • Be a driving force for improvements in processes and reporting, ensuring optimum quality of month-end and quarterly reporting.
  • Support the Director of Global Revenue, ensuring compliance with SOX and providing insightful analysis.
  • Lead the legal entity control function for the UK investment management entities.
  • Support Finance transformation through participating in assessments, creating current state documentation, and developing future state process maps.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an investment management or asset management organization with multiple country locations.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in financial control in an international organization.
  • Proven team leadership experience and ability to partner with senior management.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting standards US GAAP and IFRS relevant to revenue accounting.
  • Outstanding competency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Outlook tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work accurately and independently with excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation and delivery of work.
  • Results-driven approach with proactive capabilities to make improvements to processes and increase clarity of analysis.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work with the team and other colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
