Lead Business Intelligence Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join the Business Intelligence Team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on Business Partnering with our operational divisions.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving the team's objectives by delivering timely information presentations, generating precise reports, and monitoring performance metrics against both local and national benchmarks for services provided by the Trust.
The role requires proficiency in various data and analytical methodologies, including data collection, manipulation, interpretation, and the application of appropriate statistical techniques.
A proactive approach to promoting the effective use of information is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Articulate complex reports to non-technical audiences, simplifying intricate details and methodologies through effective visual representations. Utilize strong communication skills to navigate and clarify conflicting information that may pose challenges or have significant implications for the organization or service delivery. Challenge existing assumptions when necessary. Uphold the confidentiality of all patient-identifiable information in daily operations. Identify discrepancies and issues within complex datasets, proposing viable solutions. Evaluate the Trust's data quality against external benchmarks, highlighting areas of excellence and opportunities for enhancement. Collaborate closely with the Performance Analyst team, Clinical Systems team, and Data Warehouse team to coordinate efforts and ensure the timely delivery of key priorities across the organization. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Oversee line management responsibilities, including the management of daily tasks. Exhibit exceptional planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities. Essential Experience
Background in a Performance and Information team environment. Experience in line management. Advanced skills in information analysis and interpretation of complex data. Familiarity with new data sets and supporting organizational change. Proactive problem identification and resolution capabilities. Strong communication skills for scoping work programs and presenting complex, sometimes conflicting information.Desirable Experience
