About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Raytheon UK as an Associate Business Development Manager, where you will play a key role in managing the company's relationship with the UK's Security Services and Defence Intelligence/Defence Digital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Intelligence Services Business Development team to create strategies to achieve demanding growth targets, develop new opportunities, and win new business.
  • Manage key customer stakeholder groups at up to 4* level, building strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Work with Business Development leads to ensure excellence in business capture, pipeline development, and proposal writing.
  • Manage the Intelligence Services Business Development functional and Budget and Planning (B&P) budgets in conjunction with Finance.
  • Coordinate and manage program-associated New Business Investment (NBI) accounts, capture and proposal gate reviews, new business assessment and pipeline reviews, international representatives and consultants, and customer engagements.
  • Own the Intelligence services business strategy, generating a product and service development and marketing plan in conjunction with business and functional leads.
  • Lead and manage the R&C team, maintaining a positive team dynamic, culture, and supporting the development of team members.
  • Ensure regular customer and market engagement to better understand customer needs and promote the CST business unit (BU) product lines and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Previous Business Development and strategy experience in a defence, security, and/or aerospace business.
  • Experience and/or understanding of different commercial models for the provision of products and/or services.
