As the Site Human Resources Leader, you will deliver a comprehensive HR service tailored to meet the site's needs in employee relations, development, compensation, and recruitment, all in line with company policies, procedures, and prevailing employment laws. You will collaborate with management to shape and execute the Site HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with Group and Business Unit goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate HR policies and offer support and guidance for the effective application of HR practices and employment legislation, ensuring uniformity and legal compliance.
  • Provide expert counsel and advisory services to all levels of management regarding employee relations.
  • Assist the Site Leadership team in identifying, nurturing, and mentoring talent to achieve business objectives.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Management Team to contribute to the broader development of the business and the attainment of Corporate goals.
  • Ensure the organization possesses the necessary skills and competencies, along with a robust development framework to address current and future requirements.
  • Champion and facilitate the effective application of Performance Management to achieve personal and organizational outcomes, encouraging individuals to reach their full potential.
  • Oversee the Talent Review process and ensure Development/Retention plans are established.
  • Engage in consultations and negotiations with the Trade Union regarding all significant aspects of employment terms and conditions.
  • Support the execution of critical Organizational Structure Change initiatives.
  • Guarantee that the HR system is fully utilized and consistently updated.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Current knowledge of UK Employment Law.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Capability to operate effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
