Job Title: Quality Project Team Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Project Team Leader to join our team at Leonardo. As a Quality Project Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage programme and project risks, threats, and opportunities to reduce their impact on the programme and project.
  • Develop and implement Project Assurance Plans (PAPs) to ensure alignment with programme and project objectives.
  • Provide leadership to the Assurance Teams to meet programme and IPT objectives.
  • Mentor and coach to grow Quality excellence within the programme.
  • Represent the Quality function at a senior level with programme customers.
  • Deliver project assurance milestones within the programme, product, and project lifecycle.
  • Reduce sector non-conformance costs and implement a root cause and corrective action culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Defence Electronics, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated governance and knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to apply Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, and First Article Inspection.
  • Logical thinking and ability to harvest complex data into practical solutions that support business goals.
  • Good interpersonal skills and collaborative working style across all functions of the business.
  • Experience working with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated experience of developing a team, mentoring, and coaching.
