Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coaching: Directly manage and coach a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and identify areas for improvement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that meets customer demand.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to maintain adherence to all safety routines and procedures.
  • Labour Planning: Review and manage the weekly labour plan to ensure adequate cover, sharing feedback with the Section Manager.
  • Target Achievement: Provide detailed analysis when daily/weekly targets are not met, creating a plan to bridge the gap.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with the Warehouse Leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
  • Culture Change and Turnover Reduction: Support the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Leadership Potential: High potential for people and change management.
  • Systems Skills: Good systems skills, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-focused approach to operational management.
  • Problem-Solving: Resilient, flexible, and approachable, with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced business environment.
