Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coaching: Direct line management and coaching of warehouse operatives, including 1:1 meetings to discuss performance and set SMART goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Working with the Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and identify areas for improvement.
- Operational Efficiency: Driving performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that meets customer demand.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines and procedures.
- Labour Planning: Reviewing weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover and sharing with the Section Manager.
- Target Achievement: Providing detail on daily and weekly targets not met and creating a plan to bridge the gap.
- Strategic Partnership: Partnering with the Warehouse Leadership team and other stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
- Culture Change and Turnover Reduction: Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction initiatives.
- Experience: Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership Potential: High potential for people and change management.
- Systems Skills: Good systems skills.
- Customer Focus: Customer-focused approach to operational management.
- Problem-Solving: Resilient, flexible, and approachable with problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.
