Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, ensuring an efficient warehouse operation that meets customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives/Trainee Supervisors, including 1:1 discussions to discuss performance vs expectation and identifying SMART goals when performance is not met.
- Work with the Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for improvement.
- Drive performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that meets customer web and store demand on time and in full.
- Drive the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines and procedures.
- Review weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover, sharing with Section Manager and highlighting issues/feedback.
- Provide detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and create a plan to bridge the gap.
- Partner with the Warehouse Leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
- Support the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.
Requirements
- Experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
