- Excellent influencing, decision-making, and negotiation skills, with a good understanding of the life, pension, and retirement markets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of following a structured sales process, with a proactive approach to relationship and account management.
- Demonstrable technical experience in the life, pensions, and/or retirement arena(s).
- A strong network of intermediary contacts, with a proven track record of delivering new business growth.
- Experience translating the principles of Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly into a business development role.
