About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our Algorithmic Research team at Man Group plc. As a Quantitative Researcher, you will play a key role in developing and implementing algorithmic trading strategies to maximize returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality algorithmic trading strategies using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Analyze and optimize market impact models to minimize trading costs
  • Develop and maintain high-frequency trading systems to capture market opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize research projects
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer science)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++
  • Experience with high-performance computing and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
