Join Our Team as a Landscape Estimator

Fresh Horticultural Careers is seeking a skilled Estimator to enhance our landscape division. We are looking for an individual with a background in landscape architecture, construction, or quantity surveying who can provide precise estimates for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost budgets and estimates for upcoming projects and tenders.
  • Revise existing tenders by making necessary adjustments, generating new estimates, and maintaining effective communication with clients and contract managers.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals that meet client specifications while ensuring competitive pricing.
  • Collect firsthand data from project sites and suppliers.
  • Conduct research on labor costs, materials, and production timelines.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all documentation, including site evaluations and contract details.
  • Foster relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with construction managers and design teams to promote innovation and creativity in project execution.
  • Transition awarded contracts to the pre-construction phase, working closely with relevant teams.
  • Prepare reports and coordinate with other departments to support business growth and profitability.
  • Prioritize client satisfaction by regularly engaging with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hard and soft landscape construction.
  • A minimum of 2 years in estimating or quantity surveying within the landscape sector.
  • Strong financial acumen and management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage with clients effectively.
  • Experience with legal contracts, main contractors, and financial assessments.
  • Educational background in construction, quantity surveying, landscape construction, or horticulture is preferred.
