Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team, responsible for preparing cost budgets and estimates for new projects and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost budgets and estimates for new projects and tenders
  • Update existing tenders, making amendments and creating new estimates
  • Create detailed and well-written proposals for clients
  • Gather first-hand information from sites and suppliers
  • Research labour costs, materials and production times
  • Keep detailed records of all documentation
  • Build relationships with clients and seek out new opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with construction managers and the design team
  • Submit reports and liaise with other teams
  • Ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with hard and soft landscape construction
  • At least 2 years of experience in estimating or quantity surveying
  • Excellent understanding of finance and management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercial experience in dealing with legal contracts and main contractors
  • Education to Degree / OND / HND or similar in construction, quantity surveying, landscape construction, or horticulture
