About the Role

**Job Title:** Security Officer (Nights)

**Location:** Brackley, NN13

**Salary:** £13.65 per hour

**Hours:** 4on 4 off - Night Shift only

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises and staff. This role is not just about maintaining security; it's about creating a safe, welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment and ensure safe access to buildings at all times.
  • Carry out patrols and hazard reporting as requested.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
  • Complete all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
  • Access/Egress control.
  • Monitoring of alarms and CCTV system.
  • Key Holding responsibilities.
  • Controlling and monitoring access to the car parks.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures at all times.
  • General refuse management and ensuring overall tidiness on site.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos.
  • Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.

**Essential Skills:**

  • Valid Door Supervision SIA licence.
  • Must be able to drive (must have own transport due to location of site).
  • Confident with electronic devices.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858.
  • Be comfortable patrolling long distances and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
