Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Corporate Security Officer to provide ad hoc support to our team at ICTS Europe. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our clients' premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control Management: Manage access control for buildings and car parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to secure areas.
  • Site Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, grounds, and car parks to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • ID Verification: Verify the identity of employees, visitors, and contractors using a professional and friendly approach.
  • Alarm Response: Deactivate and activate alarms as necessary to ensure the security of the premises.
  • Key Management: Unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and report potential health and safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, including reports using computer-based systems.
Requirements
  • Substantial Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Corporate Security Officer is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Strong customer service, team working, and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Professionalism: The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure is essential.
  • Reporting: The ability to deliver clear and concise verbal and written reports is required.
  • IT Skills: Competent IT and administration skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, are necessary.
  • Appearance and Demeanour: A professional appearance and demeanor are essential for this role.
  • Training: A willingness to undertake development training is required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required, as well as a 5-year checkable history and references.
  • Criminal Records Check: A criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards is necessary.
Desirable Qualifications
  • First Aid at Work: A First Aid at Work qualification would be beneficial.
  • AED Qualification: An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) qualification would be advantageous.
