Business Systems Analyst

Location: On-site

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become a part of a dynamic IT Team as a Business Systems Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the enhancement and execution of various IT systems throughout the organization.

Proficiency in Applications, SQL, and data management is crucial for success in this position, as you will engage in the oversight of business systems.

Your contributions will significantly influence the organization. You will also be instrumental in the administration and management of IT Business Systems, which encompasses identifying enhancements, development, support, and providing assistance to the organization.

Key Qualifications:

  • A keen ability to comprehend intricate designs (manufacturing, traceability, integration)
  • A strong desire to analyze extensive data sets and system patterns.
  • Confidence in presenting your findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability in communication style to suit varying levels of seniority and audience needs.
  • Capability to define requirements, create and maintain documentation, and conduct comprehensive testing of diverse systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design of test scripts, engaging in full regression testing for key business systems and related IT systems, ensuring operational impacts are identified and communicated effectively.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of primary business systems – ERP, MES – and support daily operations, including administration and basic development tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Business System division to monitor end-user system performance, report issues, and maintain communication to ensure timely resolutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in supporting business applications
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server is a plus
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail, capable of identifying trends and root causes of issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Experience in writing complex SQL queries
  • Ability to deploy hardware and software configurations
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
