We are seeking a versatile Operations Specialist to oversee daily functions in both Import/Export and Customer Service sectors. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations within our London office.

Our extensive network across Greece, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Kenya, and Bulgaria empowers us to maintain a strong global presence and foster prestigious partnerships, delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for all import and export activities.
- Engage with both internal and external clients, managing documentation and coordinating freight bookings.
- Handle vendor payments and freight forwarder transactions efficiently.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, enhancing your skills and paving the way for career advancement within our expanding global organization.
Core Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break, totaling 40 hours per week.

Full Job Description:
- Handle Import/Export Pre-advise and Pre-alert processes.
- Confirm arrivals and manage Export Bills of Lading.
- Generate and manage invoices.
- Oversee demurrage and storage logistics.
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Transfer files to brokerage as necessary.
- Ensure comprehensive customer service for bookings, documentation, and routing execution for assigned shipments.
- Regularly update management on departmental progress and needs.
- Review all relevant documents meticulously.
- Assist in daily operations for Imports and Exports to meet customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with domestic and international vendors.
- Ensure all files contain necessary documentation in the correct order.
- Track shipments through transit points to final destinations, advising customer service as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in internet usage.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an ECDL Core Certificate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English and/or German.
- High School Diploma.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Transport, Logistics, Accounting).
- Experience in the Freight Forwarding sector and Import & Export operations.
Personal Qualities:
- Adaptable and hardworking.
- Strong customer service orientation.
