New Business Sales Opportunity

As a Sales Professional at OKB KONE plc, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing new customer relationships, managing opportunities with new customers, and closing deals professionally to increase the company's profitability.

This position is focused on new business sales, and while previous experience in the industry is desirable, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will be able to sell with confidence and maturity, be digitally savvy, and comfortable communicating complex information.

The role will involve a combination of office and field-based work, with travel across the region to meet with potential clients. You will need to be collaborative in your approach, able to influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and build sustainable customer partnerships.

This role is suited to someone who can work independently, be self-motivated, and have a desire to succeed against monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and create customer relationships in your area of responsibility.
    • Accountable for developing the company's position in your customer base or market area.
    • Create and communicate leads and sales opportunities for the entire sales team.
    • Document customer and contact information, maintain customer data.
  • Sell:
    • Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales targets.
    • Validate that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality, and safety.
    • Accountable for hand-over to Portfolio Managers and maintenance operations with complete and correct information.
    • Maintain full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits.
    • Timely and accurate reporting.
    • Cold calling will be required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Mastering customer contacts, presentations, and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
  • Previous experience and results in Sales and customer relationship management.
  • Industry experience is desirable, but not essential; enthusiasm in your approach to new business is more important.
  • Good IT skills, CRM Salesforce.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
