Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Senior Clinical Lecturer to support the delivery of the Enhanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship Programme.

Main Responsibilities
  • Effectively undertake a lead role in learning & teaching of academic and clinical programmes delivered at the Northumbria Health and Care Academy.
  • Enhance the reputation of the Northumbria Health and Care Academy and University of Sunderland as a centre of excellence by engaging with teaching, research and outreach programmes in nursing and health-related topics.
  • Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
Key Requirements
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse with effective NMC registration/ Allied health professional with effective HPCP registration /1st Level Registered Midwife with effective NMC registration
  • Education to degree level in Nursing or a related subject
  • Postgraduate qualification in a related subject area (Masters study)
  • Higher Education teaching qualification (PGCE)
