An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Senior Nursing Team Leader to join a prestigious care facility within the Cramlington area. This role is with one of the UK's foremost healthcare organizations.

The specialized care facility provides residential support for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, as well as nursing care for those with intricate medical conditions. Additionally, it offers both residential and nursing care for residents living with dementia.

**Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse qualification and an active NMC Pin to be considered for this role.**

As the Senior Nursing Team Leader, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of nursing professionals to ensure the provision of exceptional care standards.
  • Encouraging independence and dignity while positively impacting the lives of residents.
  • Facilitating quality improvements and driving standards in accordance with CQC regulations.
  • Creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging atmosphere for all residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Assisting the Home Manager and overseeing the daily operations of the facility.

The following qualifications and experiences are preferred for this position:

  • Proven experience in team management, ensuring appropriate supervision and efficient staff scheduling.
  • Familiarity with quality and clinical governance initiatives, including audits and care services.
  • Expertise in developing comprehensive care plans and conducting thorough risk assessments, with knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Ability to maintain precise documentation and resident records, utilizing modern technology.
  • Confidence in managing all aspects of medication administration in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Capability to mentor and guide colleagues in accordance with the NMC Code, adhering to its principles at all times.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting residents and their families.

The successful Senior Nursing Team Leader will enjoy a competitive hourly wage of £20.00, translating to an annual salary of £40,040. This role is a permanent, full-time position, requiring 38.5 hours per week on night shifts.
